PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 03/01/2012 – 02/28/2013
The Public Health Technical Advisors will provide technical
assistance to support the organization’s mission in Nigeria. The Public Health
Technical Advisors will provide technical and administrative oversight for implementation of US
government HIV/AIDS programs in Nigeria, and to improve the health response
capacity of the Government of Nigeria. The period of performance is
from March 1, 2012- February 28, 2013.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical and administrative oversight and recommendation for HIV/AIDS program implementation
Manage outcome documentation.
Review, monitor, manage and track progress of technical and administrative actions for PEPFAR cooperative agreements
Conduct partner site visits to review and evaluate program implementation
Lead or contribute to annual and semi-annual reports and planning
Provide technical and administrative oversight and recommendation for HIV/AIDS program implementation

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Nursing degree or MBBS or Master degree in public health with at least 7 years of post graduate work in public health or health related programs
Education and experience in HIV/AIDS program management.
Clear understanding of federal grants, cooperative agreements, and budget processes and cycles
Experience with supervision of professional or administrative staff
International experience with program implementation preferred.
